“ Whenever we’re in Peterborough we love to stop in for lunch. The atmosphere is so cozy (especially on a snowy or rainy day) and they have many of our favourite craft beers available. I recommend the brisket sandwich or the beefy hot pot. Parking lot is very limited but there’s plenty of easily accessible spots on the side roads nearby. ”

“ what a great spot! menu has lots of options (I got the roasty beet salad with goat cheese and added the citrus chicken. delicious - the house made dressing needs to be bottled & sold). they've done very well to honour the history of the building, which is especially nice to see in our throw away society. our server was super pleasant - really knew how to talk to the young kids at our table. if I lived locally I'd be a regular - it's definitely worth the 90 min drive for a return visit tho. oh! the g/f chocolate torte is A; sumptuous, velvety with just the right amount of decadent richness without being too sweet. a perfect finish. cheers ”
